for those who know, i'm constantly trying to play on LU but i have a problem. Crashes..... i have this uncanny habite of crashing evry 30 seconds to 5 minutes, in rare cases i can last 20 minutes, please help me as im tires and at my wits end with this damned problem....i just want to be able to play without constant crashes

They are multiple, different bugs that cause different crashes. VRocker's code is amazingly stable, but the same can't be said for Rockstar Games' ;)

Let me guess...
Do you use chatback off command ? /chatback off If yes, then LONG messages - crash your LU client.
Just type again /chatback on It will solve your problem.

it is fixed, thanks to nate who told me to put chatback on, Vrocker you should at least look into it after you have done everything else....that and if you want to, you did an awsome job( your team as well) on Liberty Unleashed, it just has a few small bugs

I apologize.
/chatback off & long messages are crashes gta3.exe process, but NOT the LU client.
You can test it.
Just type, /chatback off
and then type dots in chat as many as possible:

87% of the time, it was LU that crashed GTA3

because you come into a ground where 10 players (better say idiots) are shooting with the M16....and then you crash....
Or just slow connection

i was in a server with 2 other people and i still crashed ever so often

Because LU has to hook into pre-existing, shitty code lol. GTA III was well-made, but not as well made as it could have been when it was ported to PC. VRocker's LU server is so stable that myself and others couldn't even purposely crash it. R*'s code made the client always crash first. If VRocker had coded GTA III's PC port, holy crap, it would be amazingly stable, especially with LU...

in an earlier post, i wrote that my problem was fixed, but thanks for contributing, Vrocker and co did an amazing job on LU and we can expect great things from them in the futur.
