Title: handling.cfg
Post by: tmavs4 on November 09, 2010, 01:38:19 am
Hey scriptors of LU! The 0.5 version of LU , will we keep the handling.cfg file like that? I like it.  This is a better movement for drifting and really show the car's realistic burnout when having acceleration and speed.  ;)

The 'handling' was just the surface setting in the server since Mike was drifting, and must've forgot to set it back to normal.

As for mods, AdTec_224 added more anticheat checks to stop maps mods. If you want map mods, go join a server with them loaded

you do realize if they didn't upgrade the map mod bugs, then you probably might get banned. Be careful next time. 0_o

Back to topic: Darn I really liked it. If only the acceleration was a little bit quicker. Then we will have another Midnight Club GTA LU version installed :)

Just make your own server and change the surface settings

The link explains how you can modify the surface and vehicle handling (for example) if you're running your own server.

Hi, well i have put some custom cars in my gta3 and i have my own server.
So they all work great in single player, but on my server the cars are white and have small funny tires and look silly scratching the floor :D
So i put my handling and carcol files into LU/data on the server and restarted the server, but the cars still remain the same(funny looking) while playing on my server... Do i have to activate the custom files or something???
