Title: GTA III Cant patch the game

Can help please? I am trying to patch the game but it says "Uknown version" ! Help pls. My version is 1.0 , so i need to patch it so badly, but i cant, how to patch pls?

reinstall your GTA III and don't crack it, just install patch. Patch can't read version from cracked gtaiii.exe

But when I reinstalled it and just ... I do not know I just do not know will not uninstall do not know how do I delete give start there is not gta 3 so just install it again and I just know it can not ever tell me? because I tried it so ... otherwise I do not know ...
