Title: CRC Checks?

I've been playing Liberty Unleashed for a long while now, and I decided to play with some mods, forgetting about Liberty Unleashed. Now, whenever I try join a server, it says I failed a CRC check on handling.dat, and get disconnected. I've tried swapping my handling.dat with a friend's (Theremin), and have reinstalled GTA3 and Liberty Unleashed twice, but it still comes up. What do I do? I would really like to continue playing this online.

 :)Maybe you say that would be kicked into the game?

Cause or method is generally as follows:
1. Retry the installation of your LU to GTA3 directory
2. Upgrade your clients when you open the LU
3. Make sure that you are the original GTA3
4. Replace another GTA3 game

LU currently not many people, you are welcome to join :)

Again, I've tried that. And, I'm not new, either. I've been playing for over a year now.

I put those in, and it still does it. Also, I reinstalled the game yesterday, and it let me play on the server I usually get on, but now it won't. I haven't modded the game files at all.

Found it. Turns out the modded files were hiding in a proxy folder (C:\Users\LanHikariDS\Appdata\Local\Program Files).
