Title: LU Problem

I tried to play with many cd's but in some cases unknown version problem and enter disc 2.I downloaded gta 3 rar,extracted it ,my friend gave me gta3.exe,its working fine for him.When  i connect to server coming "Could not find the Gta  executable" hmm can anyone tell me its solution?i am new here.
