I could not get MTA 3 working at all (0.5 r2) I mean it connected but no sync, if you played it does something conflict with MTA? It's a clean install since I recently re-installed gta3 from the disk but it's v1.1

That is something with your game then, because it works fine.

If you are using the No-CD .exe LEGALLY, then get a 1.1 No-CD .exe

MTA 0.5 runs both GTA3:MTA and MTA:VC in one set. Just edit the configuration file and run the server. You can choose between GTA 3 Portland, GTA 3 Staunton Island, GTA 3 Shoreside Vale, GTA: VC DM, or GTA: VC Stunt.
