Title: Vehicle.Siren, Vehicle.SirenLight bug.
Post by: Steven J on October 30, 2012, 05:32:00 pm
I just made a command for setting SirenLight and Siren load on and off.

The problem is, this doesn't work on the FBI car.

I think this is a bug since it works on the Firetruck, Ambulance and LCPD Car.

I can confirm this too, as I helped him test it. My best guess is likely because GTA III oddly treats the FBI Car like a civilian vehicle rather than an Emergency Service one, as evident by it being resprayed at PNS in single-player, and also getting a civilian-style paint/repair job when such is done to it, rather than the original all-black design.

I don't remember ever trying to use an emergency vehicle in singleplayer PnS (In GTA III), but doesn't it say something like, "Woah, I don't touch anything that hot!" or something to that effect?

Or is that from VC and newer? I don't remember.

That happens in all GTA's from III on, except with the FBI Car in GTA III.
