What hard ? You OS ? It's my best favourite OS :)
I hate Seven but I can't install after Seven because this refused install all version older.
Microsoft want Kill XP for we buy Seven... $$$ business -_-

That's like saying to someone in 2005 "Microsoft want to kill Windows 95 for $$$ business -_-" the fact is XP is over a decade old and should be killed off, no one in their right mind should be using an OS that old, unless they are forced to do so due to outdated hardware.
IDK your wallpaper but nice and XP is very nice, light, no problem but VISTA or Seven it's incompatible, more ram buggy, etc... It's very bad and suck design.

For me, Windows Vista, 7 and 8 suck.
Another computer of mine can run 3 Windows 8 at once, but I still prefer XP. :P
I'm with you :)
I have other PC : 446 mb ram, XP SP3, 126 mb video I think and before I launch perfect Internet, games, etc... But now with update or news version Internet, software video etc... It's say more RAM for run perfect and It's suck.

Exemple I love play HABBO oldskool with shockwave but now It's flash player and very big bugy on my PC... Youtube, small bug  :o

I want back 2006  8)

Windows 8 supports older games as tested by me with original CDs/DVDs.

We are going off-topic, please keep up with the topic name :)

Are you russia ? :p (i'm french but i love russia)

Win 8 does not have a startup button, unless it's 8.1.

Nice, if we can create map ?

Yes you can create your own objects and place them in LU with the .dff, .txd and .col files, or use existing map mods out there.

This was made in paint.

As hard as it might be to believe, it's not :p

This topic's main purpose is to showoff 0.1.1 features and let you guys know the developers didn't forget about you :)

  • Custom objects

As you know the 0.1.1 update includes custom objects which you can load and spawn by their name.

This option lets you build your own objects and place them ingame by the use of XML files and CreateObject function and the collision, texture and model files of the object!

Screenshots:

  • NPCs

NPCs are non-player characters and they are, as you already know, a feature in 0.1.1 ! They don't do much in this version but it's nice to have them! You can set their alpha, give them weapons, put them in vehicles.. etc..

Screenshots:

Along with the possibility of adding your own timecyc.dat to the server and the new ban system which relies on GUIDs, 0.1.1 also comes with lots of bugfixes!

37  Liberty Unleashed / Bug Reports / Re: Explosion near object added by you = object removed on: September 02, 2013, 03:22:24 pm
Confirmed.

Some objects can be destroyed by default, as per GTA's nature.

Yes but as I tested it, I can say that we could destroy garages and buildings and even helicopters with rocketlauncher...
38  Scripting / Script Releases / Re: Fast Cars :D on: August 25, 2013, 03:08:55 pm
Woops, I thought it was clientside ;d. Good work but I'd rather have SetHandlingData to change each value however I want. (but as far as I know it's bugged)

It'd be cool to set a certain car's handling data ( like SetHandlingData(Vehicle veh, String key, Float val) :p )

[VU]Darius decided it's best to leave developer position due to his inactivity. Contact me if you want to become a developer.

won't work in servers using default GTAIII handling.cfg
41  Scripting / Script Tutorials / How to fix compiled client scripts issues. on: August 07, 2013, 01:23:47 pm
After intensive talking with [AoD]NC, he told me that my errors could be due to version difference. (thanks Gudio)

So, I tried printing the version and this is what I found:

Server is using version Squirrel 3.0 stable
Client is using version Squirrel 3.0 beta 1 (older)

So in order to compile your script, you will have to use this executable I packed after compiling the 3.0 beta 1 source.

The executable will execute every line you type, so you will have to write:
Code: [Select]
writeclosuretofile("newpath.nut",loadfile("oldpath.nut"));
Source: Clicky!
Executable: Clicky!

Note
- I haven't tested with lots of client scripts, but as mine worked, I decided to share this solution. It might not work, but it will most likely do.

Much timers = bad.

My solution doesn't require you to do 20 functions for 20 messages.
44  Scripting / Script Releases / Re: Example Of Gui on: July 28, 2013, 03:42:30 pm
My problem is that you encourage new scripters to use timers which is not good, also, your timer usage is not good.

Take a look:

Code: [Select]
function onScriptLoad()
{
   local nPos = VectorScreen( 11, ScreenHeight - 25 );

   local nSize = ScreenSize( 100,3 );

   nText <- GUILabel( nPos, nSize, "" );

   nText.FontName = "Cambria";

   nText.FontSize = 12;

   AddGUILayer( nText );

   nText.Text = "Example1";
   nText.TextColour = Colour( 255, 255, 255 );
   NewTimer( "TextUpdater", 10000, 0 );
}

random_msg <- [
              "message1",
              "message2",
              "message3", // add how many you want
];

function TextUpdater()
{
         nText.Text = random_msg[ rand() % random_msg.len() ];
}

See how easy I made everything.
Fixed it for you :)
45  Scripting / Script Releases / Re: Example Of Gui on: July 28, 2013, 03:20:09 pm
Still, too much timers to accomplish the same task.
