46  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: 0.17 server doesn't work under Win7 on: September 02, 2016, 05:02:38 pm
Make sure you guys post these bugs on the Mantis with all of the information you provided here. This will help VRocker and the other Developers hunt down the cause.
47  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: problem with LU launcher on: September 02, 2016, 05:01:18 pm
Lol he say you do update windows, now your W7 will be slower than before without update :)

I have never update my W7 (disabled in service "Windows update" since Install W7 clean) and I can run LU without issue.

Maybe you miss Package Redistributable or other, I don't know I'm sorry don't help you so much but I'm here for say Update Windows is useless expect If you want make slower your Windows  ;D

Edit: I see your probleme is solved, right? sorry for up  :-X
Not having your system updated is an absolutely horrible idea. It doesn't slow down your Windows. Updates are changes to system files, not programs that run in the background.
48  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: Bruh serious problem on: September 02, 2016, 04:59:47 pm
Did you ever resolve this problem?

For reference, you may also need to reinstall your Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.

x86: https://download.microsoft.com/download/4/2/F/42FF78CE-8DE0-4C88-AD7A-5F8DFFB49F74/vc_redist.x86.exe

x64: https://download.microsoft.com/download/4/2/F/42FF78CE-8DE0-4C88-AD7A-5F8DFFB49F74/vc_redist.x64.exe

If you have a 64-bit system, use the x64 one. If your system is only 32-bit, use the x86 one. You can check this by going to Start -> Right-click on Computer -> Properties. If your system information says you have a 64-bit capable CPU and a 64-bit operating system, then you can use the x64 one. Otherwise, use the x86 one.

Bye bye ban evader. :)

On that note, please continue the topic normally.
50  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: Port forward a server on: August 04, 2016, 04:16:48 pm
>:( Dang..

Well I'm sure it is possible but I will look into getting a non comcast modem/router,.

If possible I'm sure it should fix my issue.

:D I can port forward finally but can't due to this

Unfortunately SugarD I live in the country side. Kind of deep into the country and comcast is the only provider that has came our way, Three miles down the road there is no Internet support of any no comcast nothing.  ;D I remember when we had that issue over a decade ago and had Dial up with Aol
I feel your pain man. The street I live on happens to leave me with only two options: Comcast and AT&T. (I live in a low-income housing area, so no one else wants to provide service on this street at a discounted price). I've had AT&T and I will NEVER go back to them. That left me with Comcast, who have since added themselves to my ****list too lol.

Calm down and quit blaming the update. These are just bugs that need ironing out. Instead of complaining, help find the cause together so the Developers can fix it.

You can count me out of players and i dont  fking care if i get banned in this forum
Your choice.

Edit: I don't like ban evaders. Buh-bye. :)

Your server should not be crashing from creating a pickup. What do you mean by it crashes? Is there an error message? Does it close? What other scripts do you have running?
54  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: Port forward a server on: July 31, 2016, 12:55:25 am
As far as I know, (although it can vary by location sometimes), Comcast doesn't block server connections for the ports LU uses. Check your modem/router, though. These new ones are notorious for having firewall issues, and even more so at being problematic with adding exceptions. If you've already added an exception in there for it, try restarting the modem/router too.

Be careful after restarting it. Sometimes they will "bug out" or erase the firewall exceptions, and any custom MAC address settings you may have set up. (I've gone through two now, and I'm really not impressed with Comcast's crappy custom firmware for them).
55  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: Saving weapon ammo on: July 25, 2016, 09:54:08 pm
But you and I both know vortex that
Code: [Select]
player.WeaponAmmo returns the wrong amount of ammo.
Report the bugs!!!
56  Liberty Unleashed / Support / Re: Saving weapon ammo on: July 09, 2016, 10:39:53 pm
What about grabbing the information upon player exit and saving it to a database, then restoring it when they return?

Player.WeaponAmmo should theoretically cover this.

I love the idea!
58  Servers / General Server Chat / Re: Worst Server hosting expiration on: July 09, 2016, 10:35:10 pm
Why not move to another affordable host and put some focus into the issues people mentioned? Every fun, unique server out there helps the mod grow again.
59  Liberty Unleashed / Liberty Unleashed Chat / Re: Memory check fix on: July 09, 2016, 10:32:41 pm
Maybe drop the bad attitudes and moderators wouldn't need to remove the topics? I don't know who removed the previous ones or why, but clearly you guys have no problem with flaming others over it. Fix yourselves before you post about fixes for LU. You know flaming and provoking isn't allowed here. I am seriously tired of this shit. I have warned many of you dozens of times.
60  News and Content / Updates/Changes / Re: Update 0.1.0.17 (14/06/2016) on: June 23, 2016, 12:40:24 am
I gave ReactOS a try in a virtual machine earlier, and all I can say is that I would not recommend using it with LU. I have no idea whether LU would actually run on it or not, but the Operating System is still so highly unstable, it wouldn't be worth trying to play on. WINE may be a different story under *nix, however.
