That machine is called a crane, and no LU does not have any functions for it yet

VU is no longer active. If you wish to develop it, you need to contact the development team about that. It's not open-source, so hacking the mod to gain unauthorized access to it's code to edit it is against it's EULA/terms of agreement/TOS/whatever VU happens to call it's legally-binding contract for usage/installation.

I can't remember if it was the same issue or not, but there was something about arrows and checkpoints being fixed/added that previously did not work/was missing. Hopefully this will be fixed once the next major update is completed and released...but VRocker or AdTec_224 will need to say for sure about this one.

I'm not sure about the checkpoints (I know spheres have been fixed already) but you are right about the arrows, but those have already been fixed in the next update.
