- kick
- ban
- setlevel
- setcmdlevel
- cash

- deposit
- withdraw

- wire
- loc
- p
- del
- savearea
It can be downloaded HereHopefully these can help some people with their scripts

News and Content / Liberty Unleashed News / Progress
|
on: June 08, 2011, 04:43:30 pm
|
After being prodded by the test team, i have decided to post on the current progress of the next update to LU. We are slowly working on fixing the bugs found since the last update, and any crashes that you may encounter. Most of the common crashes are now (hopefully) resolved. Some other things that have been worked on are the 'sliding' objects, where you slide when walking on them. Juppi has also worked on adding a few more script functions. Some of the biggest things i have been working on lately, apart from the stability patches, are the Anti-Cheat and the updater fixes. The anti-cheat should stop, or at least reduce the amount of people using health and armour cheats. The updater is now more reliable and should result in less problems overall. We have also improved the error reporter so that crashes are sent to us in an easier format and easier for us to resolve As always there have been further optimisations done on the code so that it runs that little bit more efficiently, most notably to sprites. I also started work on an FPS counter for scripts to check the players average FPS, but it is unfinished and untested so may not make the update. All the new features and fixes need more testing before we can ship the new update, but it should come soon!

I have just added a Media section to the forum so that people can upload their own screen shots and videos and share with everyone else. Anything uploaded will be verified by the moderators first to make sure they are actually from Liberty Unleashed. You can also link to any YouTube videos and they will be embedded. Hoping to see some nice images and videos

Also the naming with the modules on linux has been fixed, they have been renamed from sq_ to lu_ as they should have been from release. Any 3rd party modules will also require recompiling with the latest module SDK, since new callbacks were added.

After many requests, i have uploaded the main script from the mess about server. This does not contain the car spawner or the other scripts that have been publicly released here. These are being released to show how many of the commands are done in the server. They are fairly basic so are easy to understand. They can be found HerePlease note: The script has been changed many times so is a bit messy and is differs in places.

|
on: December 03, 2010, 01:00:35 am
|
Liberty Unleashed 0.1 UpdateUpdates to Liberty Unleashed 0.1 have been released, they will be automatically applied the next time you restart your server browser, the following changes include: - Fixed the linux server updating itself. No longer requires the Updater.bin (Linux only, windows still requires it)
- Added Player.Collidable to clientside scripts
- Made Player.Name return a colourless nick, added Player.ColouredNick (useful for GUI stuff)
- Fixed a small bug with spawn class/screen loading
- Fixed an argument bug in ScreenPosToWorld
- Fixed a crash in SetServerName (using it on script load)
- Added password saving to favourite servers in the browser
- Fixed a bug with object angles
- Fixed a bug with spawnscreen when the player was spawned using a script
- Fixed unable to join the server when setting handling on a specific vehicle
The update requires the new client (which the browser should download) and a new server for any server hosters. Note: If your browser does not run anymore, you updated to a buggy browser. To fix, reinstall Liberty Unleashed, then navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Unleashed Games and delete the Passwords file. The browser should then work again.

Liberty Unleashed 0.1 UpdateUpdates to Liberty Unleashed 0.1 have been released, they will be automatically applied the next time you restart your server browser, the following changes include: - Fixed the browser listing players multiple times in the playerlist
- Hooked up the Help & Support in the browser to open your web browser to the forums
- Fixed the most annoying 0x4E4C5b crash
The update requires the new client (which the browser should download) and a new server for any server hosters. Due to the rush yesterday to release the mod, we forgot to include the server updater so they have to be updated manually for the moment. The next release should include an updater for the servers, aswell as better notification to clients that they need to update

Liberty Unleashed / Bug Reports / Reporting a bug
|
on: October 26, 2010, 04:21:57 pm
|
This section is for reporting any Bugs found in LU. You can also report them to Mantis. Crashes can also be reported here but the developers will add ones that have been grabbed using the error reporter. When reporting a bug, please remember to note the following: - The version you are using. - This can be found by looking at the file properties for either lu.dll or lu.exe
- What you/the other player were doing when you noticed the bug
- Is it reproducible? If so, how? - Finding a way to reproduce the bug is VERY helpful to us
- What you would expect to happen if the bug didn't occur
- A brief description of the bug
Reporting bugs will be very helpful to us so we can track down and fix as many as possible.

News and Content / Liberty Unleashed News / Wiki now open!
|
on: October 15, 2010, 04:26:07 pm
|
We have just opened the wiki listing help, resources and scripting function lists to the public. Its currently in read only mode for non-registered users, so people cant modify any pages. The wiki shows what functions are available in LU, so you can start planning your gamemodes. We are still adding things to it so a lot of links lead to blank pages. We're trying to get it all finished before we release though. You can find the wiki at http://liberty-unleashed.co.uk/LUWiki
