Liberty Unleashed's development stopped years ago. It was a great mod and had a great run, but the creator seems to have abandoned it, leaving us all with an unfinished mod that desperately needs security and stability fixes that unfortunately are unlikely to happen.

GTA Connected is stable, has good sync, and receives regular updates that fix bugs and add features all the time (at the time of this post, last update was two days ago)

Oh, and GTA Connected is not just for GTA III ... we support Vice City and San Andreas too (GTA IV is almost ready, and we plan to start development for GTA V, GTA 1, and GTA 2 soon).

ARSEnic is correct ... LU is pretty much dead.

As for a single server reviving all of LU, it's possible but unlikely.
This is the second time Motley has abandoned his projects.

TurboGrafx, there was a problem with the master list back in February. From what I understand, the master list uses multiple servers and one was down, so it had to contact another.

I could be wrong on that though. But maybe that's what's happening again?

I wouldn't recommend using the LUKB masterlist. It's an unofficial modification for LU. Somebody else here tried releasing a modified version of LU files, and it had a virus. Also, Aeoris is very bias on choosing who he wants to list a server for.

There was a borderless thing Theremin posted a while back on this forum.

You said that I'd never be able to fix them. You were wrong.

You're starting to get very nervous. I am a threat to your hacking.
Now I have you backed into a corner, right where I want you.

So, a few days ago, Kewun threatened me on my LU roleplay server, saying he would keep crashing the players on it.
After 10 minutes of terrorizing my server, I patched all the tricks he tried in an hour of scripting, and he is afraid to join now.

I had 8 players on yesterday for a couple of hours, while he sat alone in his server.
Just thought everyone should know.

And Kewun, since I know you're reading this: Like I told you before, I am the best.
You were lucky not to have dealt with me as a server owner before. You messed with all
the other servers but never had to face mine. Now that you have, I've put you in your place.
Please, find more hacks so I can fix them too.
