Reverse-engineering is not hacking. That is disassembling and programming.

Again, re-read what I put. I'm aware that Reverse-engineering is not the same as hacking; Hence I put Hacking AND reverse-engineering.
I'm aware of at-least one occasion in which VRocker has exploited bugs in clients for the purpose of crashing it, and IIRC, Max too did similar. This according to most definitions would be considered hacking.

Now, why don't we drop this very pointless "argument" which sprouted from your simple misunderstanding of a joke.

Akkadian, Don't get me wrong, I don't think you're a terrible coder at all, I don't know how good/bad you are, but my first impression is that this take is a somewhat large and complex considering your previous help requests on the forum and on IRC. Connecting a bot to MSN, or rather "Live Messenger" as they call it now, is difficult. I'm certainly not saying stop coding, as most people would agree, when it comes to coding there's always something new to learn.

I'd recommend doing something perhaps simpler, like a GameMode, or an interesting IRC script, there's a LOT that most IRC scripts don't do, such as sending RAW Irccmds as the bots.

Speaking from experience, picking an ambitious project can sometimes pay off, but will often lead to several months of work that eventually lead to not a lot, or in my case, you get bored and work on something else.

So please don't think I'm saying "Don't code, you're crap at it" because that's far from what I'm saying. Keep coding by all means; you show some promise, but I would say stick to something simpler until you're more confident in your own skills.

Your statement is some-what a fallacy, if Maxorator and Vrocker were not hackers, they would not have been able to do the mods they do. It does afterall require some level of hacking and reverse engineering..

And secondly, you don't have much of a sense of humour do you  My statement was clearly meant to be a joke.

If you really MUST follow this path, AMsn is free open-source version of MSN, and you can download the source code. it connects to the same server as normal MSN, it's just portable.

I don't know how calling someone a "faggot" is gunna go down with the admins here at LU... but nonetheless, KostPozZ were you not also banned from a Ka server for hacking? Anyway I wouldn't worry guys, the chances of him hacking successfully are slim to nill, LU anti-cheat is pretty powerful, and if he rage quits after a few weeks we all know it's cos he needs to use hacks to win if he does infact cheat.

Well As force said It seems like it's a Windows issue, You clearly have a modified theme, that could have caused it, it could have just been a random windows spaz. It wouldn't be the first time windows had done something wrong.
My Win7 Machine reports that winRar is 2GB. it's not it's just Windows spazzed when I installed it.

But anyhow! I was looking into this, and how it can be achieved, as I intend a similar thing for my own server, My current recommendation would be to use the GUI features.

For instance, for the on hit have a timer run to make it show a semi transparent rad image over the entire screen.
