46  Scripting / Script Help / Clean Server System? on: January 09, 2016, 09:39:11 pm
I have many scripts i created. They are just not good enough for me. I have been attempting to create a nice clean starter server so there will never be a flaw at all.

What I am talking about is .hsh system almost fully loaded for weapons health skin wanted. im sure you could get a idea of what i am aiming for. If anyone has any ideas for a good simple starter pack that will have a fully Perfect save system,and other things that tag along that is clean (not junked up) that would be very helpful.

I have been trying like crazy to have a clean easy to view and read server.
So far its good but it could use ideas for being perfectly clean and profesional.
Im very ocd about my server. and i look at this as art not work..

big appericiation to suggestions and pointers..

Okay now I am at creating a Fuel script from scratch.
I have been attempting to repair

Liberty Unleashed Fuel Script - Server
    Version 1.0 
    by [MKs]X_94

So far so good. I understand majority of the script,I see where some of the updates destroyed it.But somethings are confusing due to its not my script, or style of script language on creating scripts,But very close!.
The only problem i have with this script is paying for gas. i may change the functions to be bind keys instead. but i like the style that it is already in.

I really want to Write my own fuel script from scratch so i understand everything in the script.

I don't like using anyone's work i only like examples. If anyone thinks they could help me i would be appreciative.But of course if someone could help me there would be this so called stolen script running around.
I appericate the script no being taken down as i find that writing a fuel script is very complex then i thought as since its broken and once worked its a awesome example..

During The struggles in my life with bills etc.. I have to force myself to sell all my gadgets etc  >:(

Which means i have sold 4 tower computers
Recording station
Custom computer desk i put together to slide out a steering wheel from underneath
To selling all my Graphics cards i had 5 Degraded to one.
Theirs to much to list,,,


I sold my best tower that would fit more than 5 hdds and disc drives graphic cards
I've Reverted back to my first ever custom tower that i used to have a asus p4p800se in
with a 800 something mb card to, i just mounted a EVGA nForce 750i SLI FTW Motherboard with a lot of usefull parts.

So during my time i want to attempt to do what i can to make my computer interesting.

Im thinking about doing a dual operating system, I got the idea due to a hdd i found where I use to run Ms dos with windows xp many years ago..

Then i got curious of getting into linux with windows XP

Believe me I'm actually use to windows 95 to this day so its hard going past Windows Experience. Vista has issues on deleting game data on certain games etc. anything newer scares me due to im a huge expert on old Operating Systems..

So i think i want to put my foot into the door of Linux dual booting. with Windows Xp being the origanal OS,.

Okay...

I don’t know how to start this so I will start randomly

I want to know what my possibilities’ on the following are;
I want to have me server to where I can have it connected to a website to where I  can create such things as.. Purchase Vehicle Upgrades that are detected threw The Handling.cfg file .

Im An old time Modder and Im Very good with perfect handling and super fast cars being able to do the Math and recreate the handling From Scratch and keep the feel the same style as defaults.

Also I want to be able to Have my server where you have to download a mod. The mod will be released sometime before the server is Released. The mod will allow you to have custom bridges possible Etc. Real Normal Country Life Ground threw out the ghost town area. Also a mod because that’s to much script Data = horrible connection speed and much more but the mod im not to crazy about. I want to unlock the insides of all buildings eventually.

I also want to have it to where when you import solid Textures That are similar to sims game play, I want to create it to where if you want custom textures for your house, Garage, any of that then you can buy From the website and upload in a build mode. But others might not see it i dont know yet.. Just like different Claude skins

I want to add a Sims feel with a purchase option. Soon I want to Write my own Fuel Script.. I want to also create silly games of build mode in first person. Prison, Community Service. Once certain style of pedestrians are created I want to create probation officers with The game mod i will create for maybe a special skin. In some how or fashion,. That will monitor your actions threw out the city threw the police.

Also Want To Write the Firefighters’ as well.
Possible script texture you will have to repair in the city on community service that you caused chaos in and destroyed. Kinda like how textures fall apart in GTA SA

I want to make this the GTA III Fantacy/Sims Package. Races . Dodo’s dropping packages in the Water. Boat drivers picking these up, both are jobs and Criminal activities.

You can go inside the Police Department and Report a Player to the Police department on certain behaviors and they will go after the Id if the player has stars. Or if the kill script is logged for this player with in the last 5 minutes is active.


I know a lot of this is not possible until an update but that’s why this server may have to Be a 5 year project. I have to keep changing stuff due to my knowledge of scripting and capabilities, I will go simple to the above until the impossible is left. There is Other Things id rather not put out there do to someone might steal all of my ideas

Okay so recently i have been thinking of interesting scripts to create. something differnt.
Then i got thinking about how the handling config looks like when viewed as a text documment. Then i got thinking about the helicopeter configeration from vice city. i was thinking what if you where to manually delete all the other configs of vice city except the heli.?.

Then maybe create some remote functions then functions on entering that function and to read from cfg file. if possible. The dff and the model wouldnt be there, Yet.. but i think this is very possible without worrying about the texture and focusing on the heli first.

I would like to leave this topic opened For good scripters that really think they can do something with this and maybe turn this into a community project

So everything would somewhat be deleted except the heli cfg. i know this is maybe 80% possible on being done,,There would have to be A Crap load of functions but i what to leave this to technical scripters

I feel like i really would have a very Professional server if i could create my own .scm to load with my server.

honestly i would prefer to use .scm ove scripting.
.scm can be more powerful than squirrel. Even being able to have both would be powerfully awesome.

i haven't wrote .scm in years but if it came down to being able to run one im my server i would create the best .scm ive ever wrote.

Please consider my request i would donate to be able to load my own .scm there is a lot of game mode possibility's there is just so much to it. Please consider.

I would like to create a script for my server that on certain skin ids you cannot kill. basically say skin 0 Claude if you are 0 you can not kill. as well if you are with skin = hobos, gangs, pimps, hookers, etc. i really don't know how i should start this script. i should be able to create the script and copy and paste it over and over until complete .

Any help would be nice on configuring this script.

This is a main script i need on my server.

I have a few questions about server side stuff

I have world demintion issues caused by one of my spheres . is there something more professional than spheres for pns and etc pns (pay and spray brings me to the world demention . id like to have more demention on entering special spheres. but its a nightmare.
server is going to attempt to have a little of rpg to it the rest is DM until the server is finnished.
eventually there will be driving missions that will pay cash. trying to create a target mission that will telloport you from target range 1 and 2. 3 seconds to shoot will be issues but i need help on the world demention part

but anyway the other question is object.dat id like to ask is it possible to make doors like the bank joeys garage doors like ghost doors or can i create a script that these doors open on foot like pns id like to make these open for robberys etc. i just want to see what i can do. before wasting my time over nothing.

i"ve been really patient and would love to put my beta on liberty unleashed. i know Vrocker is a busy person. im not sure how long these things usley take. Starting to get really Eager to be able to upload my server.

Okay so I've been digging threw a lot of old tools and mods from an old HDD of mine that dates back to GGM mp days of 2003 Luckily i saved the link to it so i wont need to use mediafire ..
All it does is remove unnecessary particle textures etc and i can literally plow my car into a fence no lag. rain ? no lag. i can spawn basically 100 cars no lag. i really feel this is a texture that everyone should attempt to use.for liberty unleashed
i really 100% think this is the fix for the Liberty unleashed fps bugs and hear i present the fix. there are no hacks there is none of that there is just straight forward texture fixes that are unnecessary to have
