AC discussion.

Small intro:

a) Every GTA multiplayer (like SA:MP, MTA, VC:MP) have such problems.
b)  It's not good, or bad, it's only needed to be solved. 
c) Trust me, in every problem always have the solution.

So... Discuss here new types of hacks, and solutions for them :)


Type of hacks:

1. With the help of a program that unlocks programs, "bad players" are able to hack client side files (confirmed).
Hack abilities reminds me built in  functions for LU client




Solutions:


1. Sometimes, when i used my server without client side files, i did not noticed any hacks from  players (unconfirmed, i will check its).

Just compile your client-side scripts, then that won't happen.

Can't they just change the contents of the whole file, or compile their own file?

I was see on my eye when player use hack on LU , "***" it was in march 2011 ,speedhack ,full heal etc..

Last time, my client script has been compiled, and this not helped. Solution is near, read the first post please  ;)

I was see on my eye when player use hack on LU , "Cheat **** " it was in march 2011 ,speedhack ,full heal etc..

The issue seems to be that player's can modify/re-write client-side scripts and run them as long as the filesize of their version matches that of the original. Scripters can workaround this by either not using any client-side scripts, or implementing a basic anticheat. That said, this could be fixed by verifying scripts by checksums, not file sizes.

This is just based on my observations, I could be totally wrong.

We have identified the issue regarding these and it has been fixed in the next version.

Scripts are verified by the checksums, but there is a way around it which i won't go into too much detail for obvious reasons.

The anti-cheat in LU is rather good when compared to mods such as VC-MP, its just this small problem with client scripts that is letting it down.
