They are trying to implement those, from what i can remember boats have a desync issue, and well...... i don't remember about the trains but they will try to put them all in, so be patient and try not to ask what you'd like put into the game, be happy about what they give and not what you want to have given

Not sure if it's the same case for you guys as it is in GTA3:MTA, but if trains cause a crash, it's because they are treated as a vehicle without collisions, so if it's not synced and a user enters it, it crashes everyone else because to them something triggered a non-collision object to be entered by a player, just like if you try to enter the non-collision Dodo that flies in the sky. If you somehow manage to spawn it with hacks and enter it, it crashes your game for the same reason.

I have been working on trains this week and they currently work but need finishing off. I have been able to travel around liberty city in the underground train with both clients just fine though :) and they are nicely synced.
So far i haven't noticed any instability with these but i haven't tested them that much.

As for boats, we are still trying to iron out the crashes with them but they are awkward. They will be implemented one day but we cant say when

They will likely be like singleplayer since GTA III's trains are collision-less objects treated as vehicles rather than drive-able vehicles with collisions themselves. I'm sure there's a way to implement it so you could drive them, but that would be a completely different situation and likely would need to be script-activated if implemented.

Trains are currently like singleplayer like SugarD-x said. There are no plans to make them drivable at this time due to how GTA handles them.
I will be adding script and config options to enable/disable them so they dont interfere with certain gamemodes (such as the race server when racing along the train tracks)

Awesome work man! You should pass on the knowledge of how you fixed them. I think LU is the first GTA III multiplayer mod to get them successfully working!
