« on: March 18, 2011, 11:43:45 am »
Hi, haves anyone ever tried to use custom collision files in LU???
If someone haves, could you please post the procedure or a link where can i fint that in wiki...
The thing is that i changed the model for my favourite car, and if i use the original vehicles.col (found in models/coll)
the car haves these tiny tires from the original gta3 model :p and keeps sparking along the road hehe seems quite finy looking at that car :p

Custom collision files and models currently cant be used (at least not sync'd), this will be a future addition.

We would recommend to not modify vehicles until they are able to be sync'd, since depending on how they are modded it can look strange to other players and the sync isn't made to compensate if your vehicle is too low and scraping along the floor, like yours is.

Well yeah i thought so but, worth giving a shot :)
So i remodelled the car to be a litle taller so now its not scraping, drives just fine waiting to get the custom collision files....
And as i written in wiki, all the files that are put in the "data" folder get synched with the client right??? Afaik-works fine for me :)
