Poor. After reading this news I think that LU is now "half dead". I know that you don't have time to code only, you are busy with real life, but hey, who is NOT nowadays?

The last public test was quite good, but if I remember from mantis, there were +100 bugzors. I think that's quite enough and since they won't be fixed I vote NO.

However it is yours, VR, finally decision to release it or not. But you should think twice before doing it .

Releasing LU now wouldn't mean the bugs wont be fixed. On the contrary, with an auto-updater it's easier to release small bug fixes and updates often (check games on steam for example), instead of bigger updates very rarely - just like VRocker said. That way the development speed would increase as well (more players looking for bugs and reporting them -> faster/easier to fix). Some of the bugs discovered during the beta have already been fixed as well, and theres still time left before we release anything.

The initial release would have more bugs than we hoped ofc but with an auto-updater we can deploy fixes as soon as we have finished them. The end users (players) wouldn't have to download and install any patches manually, the game would always be up-to-date when you start playing.

I haven't watched the public beta test, however, if the mode is now playable, with included auto updater I believe the release would be the best choice. I'm looking forward to open up a server for LU. Good job devs.

in the sense.... ...no offense..but its fukn gta3....   

i like the game.. sure.  I played the beta for a good few hours...  was actually quite nice. 

And i also play sa-mp and vc-mp  ..  and aside from some crashin in LU  ...  in which i still crash in vcmp and samp on occasion.... and they've been released for years....  Everything seemed to be quite smooth. 

You collected data from the beta (so rhymed)   And i assumed you've used some of it.  I see no harm in releasing it, as u said u lack incentive....and if it was released....ppl would clearly play it, and that would create ..incentive. 


Theirs bugs..o no..its gta mp loool  Bugs <3    Their isn't 2 many smart ppl out their...so as long as their is no security issues (as im sure u wouldn't even of released the beta if their was)

I could have released a version of LU a while ago but nobody would have been happy with it. for this reason we are taking our time on it to make sure that come release day, it'll be good and wont crash every 5 minutes!

Still waiting for it. IIRC LU was going to be stable, so I'm waiting for it's stability.
