For example, I want to replace the original Infernus with an ... Chevrolet .



This can attract more players . The old vehicles are too .... old .
New vehicles, more fun.

Ehm? you can't force players to see what's your car, only if you make them edit gta img

It is possible you would need to create/edit the anti-cheat file in the servers LU directory (LU/Anticheat.uac) then add the Mod data files to LU/Data keeping the same directory structure as Grand Theft Auto 3, doing this would allow the a modded client to pass the Anti-cheat checks and join the server (would stop non-modded clients though).

I actually still have the required files uploaded here (extract that to the servers LU directory) only downside at the moment is every client would have to manually install the Mod.

It would be nice if we can add in new car models for the whole server instead of forcing them to manually download it themselves. Heck, adding new cars to the server ( like MVL ) would be EPIC! I don't think you would need MVL though.

This would be theoretically possible via LU if the feature was added...however they would still need to "grab" it from the server like they do other data files before playing.
